What is an Adhesive Bra?

Adhesive bras—which are also known as stick-on bras and backless bras—are bras that stick to your skin via adhesive. These backless bras do not include any fasteners or closures.

Instead, they are covered on the inside with adhesive. How to Wear an Adhesive Bra

Wearing an adhesive bra can be intimidating. Many women would like to try adhesive bras for themselves but are unsure of how to actually wear one. While wearing an adhesive bra may be unfamiliar for most women, adhesive bras are actually fairly simple to wear.

Before you put on an adhesive bra, make sure your skin around your bust area is clean and dry. Also, make sure that there is no residue of lotions or natural oils on your skin, as any residue can interfere with the bra’s adhesive sticking to your skin. Once you have ensured that your skin is clean and dry and free of residue, begin pressing the sticky side of the adhesive bra directly against your skin.

Make sure you center the bra on your chest the first time as you want it to be placed, as unsticking and re-sticking the bra’s adhesive against your skin can dull its stickiness. Beginning from the bottom of the cups and moving toward the middle and the sides of the cups, firmly press the adhesive against your skin. Hold the adhesive against your skin for at least 10 seconds to ensure that it is stuck securely before letting go.

Silicone is one of the most common materials for adhesive bras. It pairs well with medical-grade adhesive, it is lightweight, and nude silicone looks very similar to the skin when it is pressed against your chest and covered in a layer of clothing.

Many of the adhesive bras you’ll find in this collection are made from silicone material. However, this collection also includes backless bras that are sewn with fabric like that of a traditional bra instead of being made from silicone or polyurethane material.
