Colombia has built a global reputation for shapewear construction, and Leonisa is the brand most responsible for it. The difference is panelling — instead of one uniform layer of compression that flattens everything equally, Leonisa varies fabric density across the garment, holding firmly at the waist while staying soft where compression would only create a new line.

Sizes S to 4XL across shaping bodysuits, waist cinchers, shaping briefs, leggings and slips. The range genuinely runs to 4XL rather than stopping at XL and calling it inclusive.

Choosing your level

Everyday shaping smooths a line under knitwear and jersey without restricting movement. Firm control is built for a specific outfit and a specific evening — effective, but not what you want for a ten-hour day. High-compression styles sit firmer again and should be sized on measurement, not on your usual dress size.

Sizing

Shapewear should feel snug but never painful, and it should never roll. If a garment rolls at the waist or thigh it is too small, not too large — the most common sizing error. Size on your measurements rather than your clothing size, and if you are between sizes in a firm-control piece, take the larger.
