Comfort-first since 1991
Le Mystère: the bra that made comfort and support stop competing
Le Mystère was founded in 1991 on a bet that women would pay for comfort provided the support did not suffer for it. Memory-foam cups, petal-soft microfibres and plush straps arrived in a category that still treated structure and softness as a trade-off. It worked well enough that the Dream Tisha t-shirt bra landed on Oprah's Favourite Things in 2003 and introduced a generation of American women to being properly fitted. The brand was acquired by Komar in 2012 and has kept the same comfort-led engineering since.
What we stock
Two size systems, because the range covers two kinds of bra. Cup-sized bras in band and cup for structured styles — t-shirt, strapless, minimiser and convertible. Alpha sizing, XS to XL, for the seamless and wireless bras and the underwear, where the construction is designed to stretch and shape rather than sit to a fixed cup.
Where it fits
Choose the structured styles when the bra needs to do real work — smooth moulded cups that disappear under fitted knitwear, or a strapless that stays up without being pulled at. Choose the seamless and wireless styles for comfort-led days, travel, and anything where you want shaping without an underwire.
Fit notes
Le Mystère bands run firm and are known for it. If you are between sizes, most fitters suggest going up in the band before changing the cup. Seamless and wireless styles have significant stretch, so if you are at the top of an alpha range, size up rather than expecting the fabric to give.
